Welcome to my blog! I created this site in 2008 to provide a place for showcasing my photos and to provide information or links helpful to other photographers. As time has passed, I've added music videos and information as well. I will occasionally make comments, but will not preach or keep anyone from making comments of their own. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and I love the feedback! My goal is to make this website a regular destination for anyone who loves photography and music and wants to see what I've been up to.

YOU CAN LEAVE A COMMENT AT THE END OF ANY OF MY POSTS (all comments are moderated before publishing)

Near the bottom of this page and the other pages are the words,"OLDER POSTS". Click on that and you can then continue to the previous page. Another quick way to view the whole blog is to click on any of the subjects on the right side of the page in the BLOG ARCHIVE. Thank you for visiting!

PONDERISMS

I used to eat a lot of natural foods until I learned that most people die of natural causes.

Garden Rule: When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a replacement.

Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

Have you noticed since everyone has a camcorder these days no one talks about seeing UFOs like they used to?

In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire, but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, "I think I'll squeeze these dangly things here, and drink whatever comes out?"

Who was the first person to say, "See that chicken there? I'm gonna eat the next thing that comes outta its butt "

If Jimmy cracks corn and no one cares, why is there a song about him?

Why doesn't glue stick to the inside of the bottle?

JACKSON LAKE SUNSET
LOCATION: Grand Teton National Park, WY
CAMERA: Bronica ETRS
COMMENT: One of several taken after sunset at this location. As anyone knows, if you can find a good site, many good shots can be made, but all will be different depending on the length of time the image was taken after sundown. This one yielded the deepest color. Wayne and I were elated that we were able to acquire a campsite that provided views such as this!

FROSTY JUNIPER

LOCATION: Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, CO
CAMERA: Nikon D200

COMMENT: This is the kind of shot one would expect to get early in the morning before the sun has had a chance to melt the frost. Fortunately, the temperature stayed at about 25 degrees and it wasn't until about 1:30 pm in the afternoon when the sun peeked through. Then I had to hurry to take as many pictures as I could before the frost disappeared. It's exciting to know that these opportunities for good photographs don't happen often and it's great to be able to take advantage when these situations arrive.
