Christina Aguilera
As I continue to add more posts to this blog, you will find that I love music almost as much as photography. Of course, we all have different tastes, but I'll admit, I'm a bit of a romantic when it comes to music. At least when I'm in the mood just to listen, and not dancing! I love the pure tones, the long, drawn-out notes, the background guitars or orchestras, the harmony, and yes, the lyrics. I also appreciate songs sung in other languages. It forces one to listen to the music more than the words and shows that a great song doesn't always have to be in English. I've uploaded a video of Christina Aguilera singing a great song called, "Pero Me Acuerdo de Ti". If anyone out there is fluent in Spanish, I'd love to see the translation to English.

- I was born in Downey, California, but raised in Colorado Springs, Co. I've lived in the Springs most of my life except for a couple of journeys to Nuremberg, Germany for two years and three years in the U.S. Army, including one year in Vietnam. In college I majored in Fine Arts, but became an accountant instead. Over the years I've developed photographic skills out of a love of being creative and loving the great outdoors. Most of the images were taken in Colorado, but some are from California, Utah, Wyoming and Hawaii. My full-time job was accounting at a local resort until I retired in September 2013.
